Will you commit to the content marketing (blogging) schedule I outline in the final SEO doc? How much traffic do you currently have? Are you engaged in social media channels and how many followers do you have? On average, clients begin to see traffic increasing in 2-3 months when they follow the steps outlined in the final SEO doc for growing the SEO snowball. In a nutshell, my Squarespace SEO Service optimizes everything that can be optimized on your current site framework, and then outlines a game plan moving forward with steps you need to take to keep building momentum.

No design changes are made during the Squarespace SEO service. But site recommendations are listed in the SEO doc, and often involve design updates for a site that better engages visitors.

No, individual items are not included in the standard pricing. “Items” refers to individual blog posts, portfolio items, and products. The main page will be optimized as part of the service—the main blog page, the main portfolio page, shop page, etc.—but not the individual items within. If you would like individual items to be included, let me know and I can provide a custom quote for the additional work. Furthermore, if requested and for an additional fee, I am happy to provide a tutorial video showing you how to blog for SEO, how to add portfolio items and product listings that are optimized for SEO, and so on. General instructions on how to maintain your site SEO will be provided in the final SEO document given to you upon project completion.

When performed on a standard website (up to 7 pages), it usually takes 4 days from the start date to complete the project. If your site has an unusual amount of image files, as in the case of photographers and interior designers, it could take a bit longer.

Payment for SEO services on already existing Squarespace sites is due upfront to both schedule and perform the project. This is because you already own the website and therefore you inherently own the work as I perform it. Whereas a web design + SEO project requires a 50% deposit and the remaining balance is paid upon completion because I own the site until the final payment is received in that scenario.

Once you give me the green light, I’ll send over a contract and invoice to your email inbox. You’ll need to complete both of those before the project can be officially scheduled. Once those are both completed, I’ll add you to my calendar. If you haven’t already filled out the questionnaire, I’ll have you do that. You’ll also need to invite me as an Admin contributor to your site for the duration of the project. Then, on the start date, I’ll organize a Google Drive folder which will include the SEO doc I’ll be creating throughout the service as well as my Work Log so you can check in each day on my doings and progress.
